Mechel’s Korshunovsky GOK says 2020 ore output rises by 7%
MOSCOW, Jan 25 (PRIME) -- The ore production of the Korshunovsky GOK ore-dressing plant, part of metals producer Mechel, grew by 7% to 7 million tonnes in 2020, the company said in a statement on Monday.
Both deposits of the company demonstrated growth -- Korshunovsky by 4%, and Rudnogorsky by 10%.
Managing Director Mikhail Mazhukin said as cited in the statement that an equipment upgrade allowed the company to raise effectiveness of mining and transportation.
